Also called Co-generation, this area is seen by governments to have large potential in meeting climate change goals. As members of the CHP Association and Cogen Europe we are actively involved in assisting companies achieve business success in this area. We are also on the EST panel of experts for advice on Community Energy and installation of CHP.

A few examples of our capability are:-

  • Endurance testing of domestic scale CHP units over numbers of years
  • Running field trials of domestic CHP units in more than 30 homes
  • Operational experience of 200kWe fuel cell based CHP unit
  • Specification of requirements for fuel cell CHP installations
