For over 40 years EA Technology has worked with industrial
clients to design and develop a range of condition
monitoring instruments. These tools will assist the
industrial engineer in making the right decision regarding
production whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
Condition of Switchgear is a vital
ingredient ensuring the safety and integrity of any
High Voltage Network.
Many years of research into condition assessment techniques
has led EA technology to develop the HSGT Kit. This
kit enables engineers to sample the gases which accumulate
above switchgear in the head space to determine the
condition of the oil. Early signs of sludging can be
detected giving early warning and avoiding the potential
for catastrophic failure.
The National Health Service was so
keen on the technique they adopted it in their recent
Hazard Notification NHSE HN (2003)01 as the preferred
means of detecting Sludged oils on naturally vented
switchgear.

HSE Compliance
The latest HSE Guidelines (HSG230) can be used to verify
the operational procedures within your plant. EA Technology
can offer independent review of current operation procedures
against HSG230 and provide either verification of compliance
or recommendations for any changes.
DIN/SOP/NEDER
Many operating restrictions apply to a broad range of
electrical plant currently in use. EA Technology can
advise on any current restrictions to existing plant
or modifications required to lift current DIN/SOP/NEDER's.
