Applications are invited from Electrical & Electronic Engineering graduates to carry out a range of activities in the Instruments Business. This will include participating in analogue, digital and embedded design of instruments and the planning of small projects, and working within the team on larger development projects.
A 2.1 class honours degree, or higher degree, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or similar. Subject specialisations including analogue design, digital design, embedded system design, signal processing would be advantageous.
Relevant industrial experience of hardware and software design and implementation, at least one year in (e.g.) a student placement and/or personal interest in electronics is essential. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a genuine capability in electronic design.
Good communication skills both written and oral are essential.
