IT Support Technician

EA Technology ISI Limited

Reporting to: IT Manager

Work arrangement: Permanent, full time based at Capenhurst site Travel as and when required to remote locations

Salary: c£30k + excellent benefits

Following continued growth there is demand for an IT Support Technician to provide remote and desk side support for the Corporate IT network.

Overview of Main Responsibilities:

  • Configure and repair workstations
  • Support the Company’s security protocols
  • Liaise directly with end users
  • Work in conjunction with third party suppliers and support companies
  • Deal with faults in order of priority in conjunction with and as directed by other members of the IT Team
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to the business
  • Support Windows
  • Administer Active Directory


Academic/Knowledge Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience of supporting Sharepoint, Crystal Reports, WMware, HP storage and Cisco switches and firewalls is essential.
  • A Microsoft Certified IT Professional and advanced knowledge of MS Office would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills with strong customer service skills.
  • The ability to work with people in a team environment, proactive with a methodical and structured approach.
