Charity Image

At EA Technology, our unofficial motto is to make money, have fun and make the world a better place. Nowhere is this ethos more evident than in our community and charity activity. Our employee-driven Inclusion pillar coordinates this activity to ensure we deliver on our commitment to actively enhance the communities we live and work in.

Local Economic Development

We are keen to support and promote the economic development of our local areas, creating new job opportunities and scope for fellow businesses to succeed. Our Chief Exec, Robert Davis, was part of the core team that laid the groundwork for the establishment of the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership and continues this involvement as a Board Member, actively pursuing new opportunities for enterprise in and for the area.

We are also represented on the Ellesmere Port Development Board, have strong connections with the Blacon Community Trust and are actively involved with the Mersey Dee Alliance Innovation Network. All with the intention of supporting the continued growth and development of some of our immediate neighbourhoods.

Schools and Colleges

As a team at EA Technology, we are passionate about inspiring tomorrow’s engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs. Every summer, we host up to 20 students, aged 16 plus, on a range of work experience placements. Some of these are for a week or two, allowing individuals the chance to shadow a member of our team and understand the opportunities presented in the energy industry. Others join us for longer periods, working on a small project that offers them an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within our business.

We are also keen to work with our local schools and colleges, promoting the vast range of opportunities that are available within the energy industry and encouraging young people to see the practical applications of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects, as well as how these can be fun.
