Charities
EA Technology actively encourages our staff to give their time, effort and spare cash to both local and national charities, with an employee-driven Charities and Community Committee in place to support and co-ordinate their efforts. The generosity of our staff is remarkable and, in conjunction with company donations, we raise over £10,000 every year.
Charity activity by individual members of staff is fully supported by EA Technology. Every year, the Charity and Community Committee coordinates nominations and votes for a corporate charity which receive a donation of £1,000 from EA Technology, as well as funds raised from staff events throughout the year. This year, we’re supporting:
- 2010/11 Help for Heroes
- 2011/12 To be confirmed
The Committee is also given responsibility for allocating a further budget of £6,000 to support charities and community projects nominated by staff, contact and local people, often by matching to funds raised by individuals.

We also hold charity team-building days during the year where everyone is encouraged to come together, have fun and raise money for charity.
