Charities

Our total investment in community (i.e. non-commercial) activity is more than £100,000 p.a.

• We have donated 25 consultancy days (equivalent to £25,000 at commercial rates) to the Blacon Community Trust, which works for an economically deprived community of 16,000 people near Chester.
  
• Our Charities & Communities Committee is employee-driven and manages a wide range of local initiatives suggested by staff. Example: we support the local PTA and run a Christmas Party in Capenhurst Village.
  
• EA Technology’s official charity is the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
  

All members of staff are encouraged to play an active part in outside communities, including professional bodies (e.g. the IET and IAM) and voluntary organisations.
