The Energy Innovation Centre actively seeks businesses or individuals with a bright idea in energy products or services that they want to turn into commercial reality.
Energy Innovation Centre connects businesses to funding from:
- Energy industry grant funding through the Innovation Funding Incentive (IFI)
- Equity funding through our network of Equity Investment Partners
- Public Sector grant funding
Energy Innovation Centre also connects businesses to:
- The R&D teams of some of the key energy industry players
- Technical support to validate new technologies
- A professional business support network
- Potential customers in the energy sector
Energy Innovation Centre offers office accommodation in an industry incubator located in the North West of England. Re-location to the incubator is not compulsory and although we hope to encourage innovative new energy businesses to relocate to the region, Energy Innovation Centre can work with a business based anywhere in the world.
