OVERVIEW
The service is based on the determination of the relative frictional resistance of the cable to the flow of fluid between each end of the leaking section and the leak. Precise measurements of the flow of fluid into the
cable to feed the leak and the pressure difference across the leaking section allows a prediction of the leak position to be made. Success rates in excess of 70%, based on leaks being found as a direct result of the prediction, can be achieved.
