Loadflow analysis helps to identify ‘pinch points’ where the network is not capable of handling the electrical load under all circumstances. The systems studies team will suggests ways to improve the network, by either reconfiguring it or introducing new equipment. Loadflow studies can be done using the network’s current load profile, or modeled to predict network behaviour under future planned or anticipated loads.
