Low Voltage cables are often damaged during excavation work such as roadworks. The Extended Volt Stick provides a safe and simple way of identifying if a live cable has been damaged, without posing any threat to the operator.

The 600mm stick keeps the operator at a safe distance, while effectively detecting the proximity of a live conductor. If a live conductor is detected, this is displayed via a red light at the operator end of the stick.

The Extended Volt Stick™ can be lengthened by attaching to a ‘hot stick’, allowing safe checking of deeper trenches and pole mounted fuses. It can also be supplied to order at any length required.

The Extended Volt Stick™ is lightweight and portable and runs on 2 standard AAA batteries.
