UltraMet Plus+™

The UltraMet Plus+™ is a simple, hand held tool for measuring Partial Discharge (PD) activity by detecting ultrasonic sound. The sounds detected are displayed on screen as decibel readings, as well as relayed to headphones as an audible signal.

The UltraMet Plus+™ is the ideal low-cost, entry level device for customers new to the EA Technology PD equipment range who want to identify PD problems before they lead to expensive failures.

Light, portable and ergonomically designed, the unit is highly sensitive to PD frequency ultrasonic sound, making the detection and measurement of PD activity quick and easy. Audible signals and an illuminated alarm indicator act as alerts to areas of concern, while the digital readout helps operators to quantify problems.

The digital read out also allows operators to compare asset condition over time, as well as comparing faulty and fault-free equipment readings.

The UltraMet Plus+™ can be used with a selection of accessories, such as the UltraDish and Flexible Sensor, to increase the range of assets that can be assessed. It can also be factory upgraded to add TEV detectors.
