The UltraTEV Plus+™ is the leading instrument for assessing and comparing substation asset condition, providing a low cost, easy to operate system with immense flexibility.

The lightweight, ergonomically designed hand set features a menu-driven, backlit colour LCD screen that provides a range of information, including numerical values for TEV and ultrasonic readings. This allows operators to compare readings between assets as well as compare single asset readings over time. The UltraTEV Plus+™ also includes a headphone socket for audible readings of ultrasonic activity, allowing operators to ‘hear’ PD activity directly as they undertake their asset condition surveys.

The unit can be set for single shot assessment of critical PD activity, or continuous PD detection, allowing a rapid sweep of entire substations. It also features an external ultrasonic detector port for use with a range of accessories. These include the UltraDish for investigating overhead or hard to reach assets, and the Ultrasonic Contact Probe, for investigating sealed units.
