EA Technology’s Fluid Leak Location Service makes finding leaks faster and easier, reducing disruption, saving time and cutting costs.

The service is based on the determination of the relative frictional resistance of the cable to the flow of fluid between each end of the leaking section and the leak. Precise measurements of the flow of fluid into the cable to feed the leak, and the pressure difference across the leaking section, allows a prediction of the leak position to be made.
