Job Purpose:

EA Technology is an employee-owned company, offering end-to-end technical services and products to meet the needs of operators of power networks around the world. With customers across a broad spectrum of industries, notably the electricity, rail and industrial sectors, we offer a range of consultancy, services and products. An opportunity has arisen for a Software Developer to join the Asset Investment Management (AIM) team who design and deliver condition, operational and financial analytic models to utility companies across the world to allow them to prioritise and justify investment decisions.

The AIM team is currently developing a web based system to allow access and control of the asset models they supply. The system will be made available via on-premise installations and as a SaaS product via the cloud. System parts will include both commercial end delivery and internal use components for managing and building the asset models ready for sale.

Reporting directly to the AIM Development Manager, you will be working as a C# Software Developer.

Actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the team, you will be tasked with developing a variety of web applications, utilising JavaScript UI frameworks and API technologies, for sale to our customers, as part of our Asset Investment Management (AIM) team. You will be involved in the whole life cycle of the web application. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be expected to interact with other development teams within the business.
