Job Title: Business Development Manager

Reporting to: Head of Sales, Smart Interventions

Work arrangement: Permanent / Full-time

Job Purpose:

A Business Development Manager is required to work within Smart Interventions consultancy and software business unit to increase sales activity with the renewable energy sector, initially with the primary focus on the Asset Management Policy and Strategic Asset Management Propositions.

Overview of Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for a sector sales target
  • Client and relationship development
  • Networking and attending conferences / industry forums
  • Targeting and securing new clients and business opportunities
  • Marketing intelligence to help shape the proposition /offering
  • Responsible for defining and overseeing a marketing plan to help support the business development
  • Tender writing
  • Develop marketing material / case studies
  • Proposal writing and contract review
  • Contract negotiations
  • Effective handover to project delivery team
  • Sales reporting

Academic/Knowledge Required:

  • An understanding of the renewable energy sector or electricity asset management
